Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is an established 8 doctor orthopedic office celebrating 30 years in practice looking for a self-driven motivated individual who can both lead a team but also knows when to be humble, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. No one is born perfect, but we are not looking for perfect, we are looking for someone who cares about what they do and about the well-being of our patients and set personal egos aside. This is a great opportunity for someone who either is bored with their current job duties or for someone who is working towards an advanced career in medicine and would like to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to run a busy practice.

As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation for a busy orthopedic sports surgeon. You will manage the clinical demands of our patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care, organization, and communication. The goal is to treat each patient the way you want your family members to be treated when they see a provider. We work as a team that travels to all locations and work closely together to accomplish high quality orthopedic care.

Responsibilities

  • Recording/documenting and reviewing patient information related to visit along with other related information such as allergies, medications and social/family history
  • Room patients
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Triage patients
  • Update and file medical records
  • Assist during medical examinations
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Wound care to include suture and staple removals
  • Vital signs
  • Drawing up medication
  • Insurance authorizations
