What are we looking for?

We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician, and is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his or her direction. This position observes, contributes to the plan of care, implements, reports and documents patient care in accordance with department policies, standard of care and state scope of practice. We are committed to fostering professional growth and dedicated healthcare teams that make us the provider of choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patient's vitals and record them in their file
  • Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
  • Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
  • Update patient records in a confidential manner
  • Evaluate the patient's wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
  • Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
  • Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
  • Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys

Successful applicants will meet the following requirements:

  • Must currently hold an unencumbered LPN license through the Arizona State Board of Nursing or Compact State license- required
  • At least one (1) year experience working as a licensed LPN experience
  • Current CPR certification required
