Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) Job at Harborcreek Youth Services
$2,500 Sign-on bonus
Responsible for medical service delivery to clients in a psychiatric residential treatment facility, in accordance with the mission and philosophy of the agency, which follows the Sanctuary model and includes trauma informed treatment.
1. Obtains all information and orders from physicians for all medical care needs.
2. Audits charts routinely for all required documentation.
3. Advises medical assistant in the scheduling of client appointments.
4. Monitors care of clients during medical office visits and/or service
5. Updates medication administration records including medications and routine care.
6. Follows through and coordinates all doctor’s orders in conjunction with continuum of care.
7. Assists physicians with residents care.
8. Reviews files and client records for compliance with regulation and best practice on a routine basis.
9. Audits medication distribution and is responsible for QA for all medications.
10. Routinely conveys changes in insurance information to pharmacy and physicians.
11. Monitors all medications and destroys all discontinued medications.
12. Routinely treats and triages client’s medical needs.
Current license as LPN or RN
Must have current Child Abuse, PA Criminal and FBI Fingerprint Clearances upon hire.
Previous experience working with adolescents a plus.'
