BrightStar Care of Leesburg and Gainesville is looking for a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for our pediatric client in Winchester, VA! The ideal LPN will have exceptional communication skills and is proactive regarding pediatric patient care. The LPN should be experienced providing skilled nursing in a homecare setting and is able to remain patient and calm in stressful/difficult situations. Training is provided by the Nurse handling the case.

Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays 6am-6pm OR 6am to 10pm

Skills:

• Proven experience working with Pediatrics.
• Experience with Pediatric Heart Disease.
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
