At the Glasgow State Nursing Facility, Crown Health has the privilege to accept applications for a Licensed Practical Nurses! This facility provides long-term mental health care. These full-time or part-time opportunities are available on 2nd or 12-hour shifts with new higher pay rates $30.00 - $31.50 per hour . LPN positions are available immediately and are offered in 8 or 12-hour shifts.
2nd Shift:
- 3:00pm - 11:00 pm
3rd Shift:
- 11:00pm - 7:00 am
12-hour:
- 6:00pm -7:00am
*Alternating Weekend Availability Required*
This career opportunity is temporary with intent to hire. While on assignment as a Crown Jewel, you can expect to enjoy such benefits as weekly pay, ACA accredited health benefits, direct deposit or pay card, and the ongoing support of your Crown Healthcare - Bowling Green Staffing Team, who work to advocate for your success! After successfully completing the required 1500 hours, you may be considered for permanent placement with the client company!
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you can expect to:
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists for patient care
- Supervise unlicensed administrative personnel in the performance of patient care activities
- Explain medication purposes, dosages, and possible side effects to patients and possibly family
- Administer medication and treatment as prescribed
- Accepts and accounts for pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical associated equipment
- Follows established policies and procedures of employing facility
Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:
- Licensed Practical Nurse license that is active with KY Board of Nursing or ‘Composite States’
- Must possess an Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing
- Experience is preferred but not required
- CPR Certification preferred but can be offered on site
