POSITION: Market Development Specialist/Provider Liaison

LOCATION: Portland, Vancouver Metro Area

We are dedicated to providing world class vein care for our patients using the latest techniques and technology that is friendly, affordable and quick. There are 6 clinics (NW Portland, Tigard, Tanasbourne, Happy Valley, Bend and Vancouver) staffed by highly skilled and experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, registered vascular technologists, medical assistants and other support staff.  The organization is committed to staying at the forefront of the field of vein disorders, and to providing compassionate care in a healthcare retail setting to all of its patients. In addition to providing clinical services, Inovia Vein Specialty Clinics is committed to patient education and community outreach.

Inovia seeks to improve patient lives through disease awareness education to the Portland community and offer our expertise to the health care providers in the Portland metro area. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Market Development Specialist/Provider Liaison to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive market growth for our clinics and increase revenue. You will also be responsible for building relationships with healthcare providers and collaborating with internal teams to expand our outreach strategy.

SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for attaining forecasted growth goals in the Portland Metro Area including Vancouver WA. This role will be accountable for promoting the Inovia Vein brand through outreach and education to current and prospective provider in a clinical and compliant manner across the assigned territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive market growth and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and potential or existing healthcare providers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement for our products and services.
  • Work with Director of Operations to set up referral KPIs, performance metrics, budget, and regular reporting cadence.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and key decision-makers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Ability to execute Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, which includes delivering approved branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following-up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Support the implementation of CRM system, and routinely updating all customer information in sales database.
  • Provide additional team/peer support, such as coaching, mentoring, advising, or training fellow team members.
  • Uses selling, presentation, influencing, listening, and questioning skills to best understand and articulate our brand and offerings and fully understand physician/clinician and patient needs, expectations, challenges, and other constraints.
  • Develop and complete business plans, expense reports and all required administrative reports on time and as requested.
  • Attend sales meetings, training programs and medical conventions as requested.
  • Follow all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years successful pharmaceutical sales and/or medical device sales or other relevant sales and marketing experience.
  • Proven track record of successful sales results and ability to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Business travel throughout assigned territory is required.
  • Must live within the territory.
