Assists the SVP Chief Risk Office, and Senior Lending Management to administer the Credit Union's Lending Compliance Program. Consults with Lending Management on a variety of lending compliance topics including, but not limited to, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Truth In Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Military Lending Act. Provides high-level independent analysis and reporting as directed by SVP Chief Risk Officer. Coordinates with the Internal Audit function to ensure that all high-risk Lending compliance activities are independently reviewed and Lending risk is mitigated within established parameters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience of 7 - 10 years' experience/knowledge in real estate lending including areas of products, underwriting, processing and documentation for real estate secured loans.
  • Advanced experience in lending regulatory compliance required.
  • Advance analytical skills and finance background required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access, along with knowledge of loan processing systems.
  • Ability to effectively manage time to support multiple disciplines and meet process timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and telephone skills.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organization, and solution-seeking skills.
