Childcare Learning Center in Tucker, GA is currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced individuals to join our community of child caregivers. In this role, you will see to the children's basic needs, provide an enriching learning environment, and create a safe, compassionate "home-away-from-home" for our little ones. To succeed in this position, you should be patient, enthusiastic, and fun-loving, with a passion for child development and care.

Child Caregiver Duties and Responsibilities

-Provide responsible care for children

-Treat all children with care and compassion

-Uphold CPCC safety standards

-Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly classroom

-Maintain a professional attitude, respecting family privacy at all times

-Provide enriching educational activities

-Lead songs and learning exercises

-Provide structure and accountability in a compassionate way

-Help children learn to be "helpers" in the classroom, as appropriate

-Contact parents as needed to address challenges

-Provide many opportunities for children to learn and develop age appropriate skills

Child Caregiver Requirements and Qualifications

-High School diploma or GED required, college degree is strongly preferred

-Current CPR and First Aid certification

-Certification in early childcare or degree in childhood development required (CDA,TCC, or higher)

-Minimum 2 years experience working in a professional childcare setting

-Exceptional patience and ability to remain calm at all times

-Solid working knowledge of childhood development

-Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and standing

-Must be able to lift children weighing up to 20 lbs regularly

-Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
