Ivybrook Academy is currently seeking a passionate preschool educator to nurture the youngest citizens of our school community. Our schools provide a professional environment where educators can focus their time on igniting the joy of learning in their students. We are seeing a passionate educator who is energetic, flexible, fun-loving, and committed to progressive quality education.

  • Student : Teacher ratios lower than what state licensing allows for most of the morning.
  • Two weeks PTO per year plus paid holidays
  • School year closely follows the Douglas County School District calendar including fall, winter, and spring breaks and holidays. Open to taking summers off but we do also offer summer camps.
  • 8:00 - 12:15 work hours, Mon-Fri
Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement daily lessons for the children following a progressive approach to education
  • Observe and evaluate each child’s progress
  • Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents
  • Maintain communication with parents
  • Be available for parent conferences
  • Attend staff meetings, training and school functions
  • Maintain portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom
  • Commit to continuing education

Job RequirementsPriority given to those with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or have their education degree within the first year of employment.
