The Role
We are currently looking for a Lead Talent Development Consultant to join our team!
The Main Responsibilities
- Is an example of facilitation excellence within the North America Sales Enterprise organization.
- Demonstrate advanced facilitation and communication skills in delivery of training across a broad spectrum of topics to multiple levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate effective coaching and development of Lumen employees, leaders, and peers to drive the successful completion of key initiatives.
- Effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders at the Director and VP level of the organization.
- Engage and influence vendors, partners, and HR teams to identify and manage business needs and develop solutions to optimize company performance.
- Will be responsible for multiple training programs and will analyze metrics and results to present to Directors and VPs.
- Utilizes critical thinking and needs assessment skills to analyze, problem solve, and improve processes through the complete life cycle of medium to large-scale projects.
- Proactively identify gaps/inefficiencies and implements solutions that drive a change in behavior positively impacting Lumen’s results.
- Demonstrate effective Outcome Consulting and partners to identify the best possible solution to improve business performance.
- Contributes technical expertise to the development, evaluation, and implementation of new training content to drive the achievement of Lumen outcomes.
- Exercise considerable latitude in decision-making.
- Partner with Learning architects to apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices in training solutions.
- Demonstrate Lumen Success Enablers – own commitments, be inclusive, grow yourself, others, and the business.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
- 5 - 8 years of related experience.
- Advanced skills in effectively conducting training with a high level of engagement in the following forums: one-on-one, classroom or virtual learning environments.
- Proven results of applying effective coaching techniques to drive business outcomes.
- Application of Business Acumen related to Lumen processes, products, and services.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, projects, and deliverable commitments.
- Familiarity of Lumen’s Products and Services.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
