Lead Maker / Trainer Job at Kitsbow
This is an opportunity to help amazing and talented people create the highest quality garments in the outdoor recreation industry. You will teach and mentor our Makers on how to use the best-of-class sewing machines to make apparel. We pay them to learn, you are their teacher. You will have deep experience with nearly every type of commercial sewing machine, and able to guide others in the best practices of sewing construction techniques.
Kitsbow is one of the few U.S. manufacturers making premium clothes utilizing the Toyota Way, where a team makes one perfect garment at a time before making another. This is not sit-down assembly line work, and we are constantly changing what we make... and how we make it. We firmly believe that the talent (i.e. The Maker) directs the construction techniques, so that we can make the best possible clothes in the most efficient way.
