Vesta Corporation is seeking to hire a hands on, energetic, Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at Diamond Rock Terrace in Troy, NY.

As a Vesta Lead Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for performing all assigned maintenance tasks to ensure that the property meets safety, appearance, and operational standards through quick response to resident service requests and efficient, fast turnaround of apartment make readies.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the property team, reporting to the property manager, offering maintenance staff development and administration of Vesta’s maintenance programs providing quality customer service to our residents.

Required Education and Experience:

• 3 or more years of related experience.
• Apartment community experience required.
• Drywall, lock change, and light electrical, carpentry, flooring, and plumbing experience required.
• HVAC Type I and Type II required.
• Experience leading a team preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

• Multilingual a plus, may be required based on property needs.
• 3 or more years of related experience.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and electronic.
• Experience leading a team preferred.
• Strong customer service philosophy with a CAN-DO attitude
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to participate in the emergency on-call rotation.
• Background check and drug screen required.
