Job Summary
Looking for and energetic, enthusiastic culinary professional to join our team at Indian Head Casino! The Lead Cook assists Food and Beverage Management in creating, producing, and serving the finest foods to guests of the Warm Springs Casino Enterprises (WSCE). He/she also works with the Kitchen staff to help ensure an efficient and sanitary work environment that meets the standards set by WSCE and all regulatory agencies.
Skills/Experience Required or Preferred
The Lead Cook needs to have mastered sautéing and grilling. 2 - 3 years experience working in a comparable position. Should be able to function on a busy restaurant line efficiently, consistently producing dishes to specifications. They should have the ability to train and coach others and be able to ensure food is handled safely.
Education
High school diploma or GED. Culinary certificate or hospitality degree preferred. ServeSafe certification also preferred.
Certificates or Licenses
Oregon food handlers certificate or ServeSafe certification.
