Laser Material Handler

This shift is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 3 12 Hour shifts-paid for 40 hours, 3pm to 3am.

Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:

· Reviews nests to be produced on laser.

· Determines and loads correct material that needs to be staged on the laser bed.

· Verifies material, thickness, overall size, and finish meets job requirements.

· Cuts parts according to due date/meeting customer quality requirements.

· Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.

· Reviews traveler/prints to verify what needs to be cut.

· Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.

· Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.

Experience:

· CAD/CAM/ProNest Software & Amada Laser

· Prior Laser experience and knowledge (required)

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.

· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds daily.

· All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Education:

· High School or equivalent preferred

Salary:

· Starting at $17- $20/hour (based on knowledge and experience)

Schedule:

· 8-10 hour shifts

· Monday-Friday

· Daytime
