Lamination Job at Freeman Boatworks
Qualifications:
No prior experience or training.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspection of all gel coated parts from Gel-coating
Application of skin coat – Chopped strand mat
Inspection of skin coat from contamination of air voids
Light sanding of skin coat to remove any protruding glass
Application of bulk laminates
Application of hull or deck coring materials
Application of hull or deck backing materials and reinforcements
Rolling out or purging of all air bubbles in laminates
Installation, bonding, and lamination of Transom Core
Inspection of laminated parts.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Continually required to stand
Occasionally required to walk
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
Frequently work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
