Experis, part of ManpowerGroup is hiring Lab Analysts for one of our pharmaceutical partners in the Eastern, NC area. We are looking for all levels (entry/mid/senior) for all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd). These are long-term contract positions with potential to convert to FTE.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 4 years of relevant experience OR an associate degree with 2 years of experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
  • Willing to learn and develop a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Capable of reading, understanding, and executing instructions in basic laboratory procedures.
  • Understanding of basic non-instrumental wet chemistry techniques, Manual Titrations, pH, Conductivity, Auto-titrations, UV-Vis, Polarimeter, etc.
  • Understanding of performing basic measurements on packaging materials using various instruments including optical comparators, Vernier calipers, gauges, etc.
  • Familiarity with following SOPs, cGMP, and other laboratory policies.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in parenteral drug product pharmaceutical manufacturing is plus but not required.
  • Successful hands-on analytical testing experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
As a Lab Analyst you will:
  • Perform testing on incoming materials, in-process, and final product in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
  • Report testing results through computerized systems, or through standard laboratory paper-based documentation.
  • Consistently adheres to company, site, and laboratory safety rules and immediately raises any safety issues with supervision as soon as they are identified.
  • Follow procedures at all times, adopting cGMP, cGDP practices.
  • Actively participates in daily and weekly planning discussions with his/her teammates and supervision (as needed) offering suggestions to improve Right First Time and schedule adherence as needed.
  • Consistently communicates work sequence status to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Be a positive influence on the laboratory while supporting and assisting teammates on the same shift wherever possible.
