This is a Laboratory Technician position in R&D. The candidate must be a competent individual contributor who can execute assigned work as well as able to plan own work supporting projects assigned to ensure key project milestones are met.

This position primarily entails running the product stability of new formulations for the brands. The candidate will work to support the brand on new and existing products in terms of to conduct physical and full stability testing on samples to ensure product adheres to pre-determined specifications.

Ongoing partnership with brand’s formulation Labs, across Global R&D. The candidate will also collaborate with other support groups such as QA, SAS, TPM.

Performs testing on all new and existing products. Assures that all testing is on schedule.

· Reviews/monitors the stability protocol/results and discusses with manager as necessary.

· Calibrate pH meters, Viscometers, organize stability samples and maintains them in the stability chambers.

· Organizing and maintaining records under GMP compliance.

· Managing multiple stability for variety of projects - working independently with the ability to ask questions for clarification on any issues that arise.

· Demonstrates patience in daily routine work.

· Places orders through Ariba for MST needs.

· Able to assist team members/management and support teams as needed when new stability protocols and/or equipment are being vetted for future implementation.

· Follows all safety rules, standards, and regulations in the lab environment.

· Proficiency in Power Point, Word and XL is a plus.

Qualifications - External

Associate Degree in Natural Sciences

0-2 laboratory experience

Experience in a Formulation Lab working on makeup or skincare products is helpful, not required. Knowledge of cross category cosmetic products. Ability to use Viscometer, pH meter, Microscope, Thermometer, etc. Proficient in Outlook, Teams, Excel, RDS , GMP and OTC protocol. Excellent communication and interpersonal; time management and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
