DP Dough is the college favorite Calzone, Dunker's and Stix spot. Located directly in Terp Row near 8,000 off-campus student apartments and blocks from campus. DP Dough has reopened after a previous 20 year storied run. Thew new location has floor to ceiling glass windows, 24" LED light wall that syncs to music and plenty of seating.

Base Hourly Pay $13.50-$16.00 / hr, PLUS TIPS

Average Hourly Compensation $17-22 per hour with tipout

If you go to, live or work in a College Town you know D.P. Dough! The brand is growing across the country, small franchises, locally owned in Div. 1 College Towns. This location is locally owned and part of the group that owns Towson University location.

Plenty of available street parking, busy pace so time flies and a engaging, youthful company with teamwork and energy. When you are not making calzones we often have music playing, TV's on and good conversation.

Summary of Position:

Accurately and efficiently bake food products as well as prepare and portion food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. Also perform other duties in the areas of food preparation including boxing of cooked items and preparing appropriate sides for all orders. Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests in-person and over the phone.

Duties & Responsibilities:

§ Prepares a variety of calzones and side items for cooking in ovens and other kitchen equipment.

§ Assumes responsibility for quality of products served, taking pride in our process and product. Fresh daily dough, high quality ingredients and careful recipe execution.

§ Complete opening and closing checklists.

§ Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.

§ Uses our Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products, making sure each Calzone is made the same way. Consistency is what our customers value with their favorite Calzone!

§ Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.

§ Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

§ Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.

§ Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, convection ovens, dough sheeter and refrigeration equipment.

§ Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.

§ Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.

§ Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.

§ Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

§ Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.

§ Be a minimum of 18 years old.

§ Ability to follow prep documents, understand basic weights & measures

§ Must be able to use a smartphone or computer to access scheduling software, payroll program.

§ Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

§ Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
