Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for inspiring, developing and upholding Luna Grill standards with all Back of the House team members. The Kitchen Manager will be managing all essential kitchen duties such as: Inventory, Scheduling, Safety, Labor and Waste. The Kitchen Manager will train and develop all team members in cooking methods, food preparation and presentation, waste and labor. The Kitchen Manager will utilize all training tools per Luna Grill Standard.

As the Kitchen Manager, you will:

• Ensure all Back of the House Team members are properly trained and following Luna Grill standard
• Know and comply with Luna Grill Cooking Standard
• Complete weekly inventory
• Work with the General Manager and Staff to control waste and labor for the kitchen
• Understand how to open and close the kitchen and follows all kitchen station checklists
• Work closely with the General Manager in the development of the Back of the House Team members
• Prepare weekly schedule for the Back of the House

Our Kitchen Managers need to:

• Possess the highest quality of food standards both in cooking methods and presentation.
• Stand and/or walk for an entire shift – From bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members
• Show and provide effective leadership and problem-solving skills
• Provide a strong, detailed orientation to all back of the house team members
