Job Summary
The Key Account Manager is a vital role; whose aim is to improve Nirvana Investments profitability and business diversity by developing the THC and Alternative Products Category. The position requires an individual that is a self-starter and can make critical fact-based decisions to grow profitability and sales. This person must possess the ability to collaborate and build relationships with potential customers and Nirvana team members, while effectively executing multiple duties.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Development Focus
  • Open new partnerships and markets, to build income, profitability, and exposure for Nirvana 0Investments.
  • Capable of anticipating industry trends to use as a basis for strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Exhibits an understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market environment, and customers' needs with the ability to implement this knowledge.
  • Presents and executes strategies and tactics for expansion vs competitors in both small universe and untapped markets.
  • Identify new product opportunities and partnerships non-traditional and sourcing partnerships.
  • Always think and communicate new ideas or ways to improve workflow and productivity, including efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Driving business through relationship building, and understanding key performance indicators to set viable scheduling and quantifiable benchmarks.
  • Anticipates and identifies opportunities that add value in meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
  • Exhibits competency in leading negotiations and utilizing leverage (wherever it may come from).
Sales and Customer Focus
  • Responsible for driving growth of Nirvana Investment Portfolio via email, phone call, in-person call, cold call, reference, etc.
  • Work closely with the team to identify high volume potential accounts and secure point of distribution.
  • Work closely with the team to build, understand, and communicate pricing and promotional plans for customers, all driving account growth.
  • Manage issues with accounts, including handling returns, credits, replacement stock, etc, as required.
  • Present and execute strategies/tactics for expansion vs competitors in the marketplace.
  • Selling and merchandising of all products and SKUs distributed via 5150 N’FUSION.
  • Thorough understanding of analytics via average ticket sale/order, the margin of the product (retail/ wholesale), and profit & loss breakdowns.
  • Thorough understanding of lead times, and logistics and capable of working through flow chart problems.
  • Develop key internal relationships with sales and marketing to ensure collaboration and alignment for effective selling strategies.
  • Always think and communicate new ideas or ways to improve workflow and productivity (Efficiencies and Effectiveness).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2-4 years of sales experience
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships; internal and external
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Critical thinking and implementation
  • Considerable initiative in daily work schedules
  • Exceptional time management; balance of field and office duties
  • Ability to analyze cost-benefit relationships to drive sales
  • Ability to manage and track budgets
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, ordering and budgeting tools
  • Clean driving record
