Job Description

Reports to: IT Director

Location: Burbank, CA

Essential Functions:

Include but are not limited to the following:

· Provide technical support to users on the proper use of the School’s technology resources, including how to log in to the School’s network and email, how to operate the School’s computers, how to operate and maintain interactive whiteboards, how to identify and deal with malware threats.

· Provide On-Site IT support on a rotating schedule on our multiple School Campuses (Burbank, Los Feliz, Pasadena and Tarzana).

· Participate in maintaining Windows server infrastructure.

· Assist with software rollouts and software updates on all School computers.

· Help maintain Wi-Fi networks and other aspects of IT operations.

· Set up projectors, microphones, speakers, as required for special meetings or presentations.

· Enter and work Help Desk requests for problems that require IT intervention.

· Adhere to all school and departmental policies, rules and regulations.

· Create login accounts, email addresses, and photocopier codes for teachers and staff members.

· Install and update operating systems, French-language and English-language educational software and tools.

· Conduct remote IT support sessions when required for teachers and staff.

· Perform hardware repair, replacement, and tracking in the School’s asset database.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

· Bilingual in English and French strongly preferred

· Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)

· Should be organized and efficient, and able to work independently

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

· Knowledge of Google Workspace for Education

· Ability to Prioritize and work under multiple deadlines

· Unimpeachable ethical standards and personal integrity

· A commitment to LILA’s mission and values

· An appreciation and understanding of other cultures

· Able to lift weights up to 50 pounds

· Must have own transportation to travel between campuses as needed

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work:

Work hours are Monday through Friday.

Travel:

Some travel to campuses.

Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States, take and pass the Department of Justice Live Scan, and health requirements of health screening, TB, and immunizations.
