Overview
If you are starting your storytelling career and possess a desire to develop your creative writing skills across a variety of formats to drive highly engaging content, then we’d like to hear from you.
When you come on board, you’ll work in close collaboration with our in-house Marketing teams (Brand, Creative, Demand Generation, Content Development, PR, Product) to create high-impact and transformative content assets and experiences. All designed to educate, showcase, and demonstrate the power of Gogo connectivity to our diverse audiences. You’ll also track results (with help from our analytics group), and help identify story opportunities to drive results.
Results will take lots of forms: from the basics of blogs, demand generation customer emails, advertising copy, marketing collateral, press releases, social media copy, and white papers, to more complex interactive projects potentially including storyboarding and idea generation for video and even virtual events. So rest assured that you’ll be a key member of the creative team.

How will you make a difference?
- Collaborate with Brand, Product, Demand Gen, Content Development and PR, and translate needs into content strategy, ideas and results
- Solid understanding and experience writing for social media
- Be willing to learn our highly technical solutions, in order to create amazing copy that anyone can understand and “See the benefit”
- Work closely with marketing team to plan, organize and manage a fluid calendar with varying copy needs
- Track results to know what’s working and what’s not
- Fundamental understanding of media production, advertising and digital experiences
- Manage projects with outside agencies
- Look over the horizon at media and content trends in the next 1-3 years and position us for success
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ writing experience (copywriting for corporate brands, newspaper reporter, advertising copywriter) within a branded environment, whether agency-side or in-house
Required Skills, Talents & Experience
- Passion for storytelling, brand building and campaign work
- Ability to measure results
- Advocate for an audience-first approach
- A portfolio that demonstrates a wide variety of content work (video storyboarding and interactive a plus), end-to-end experience: from concepting through measurement
- Ability to collaborate with and lead outside agencies to get things done

Base Pay:
52,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
