Job Summary:

The JR IT Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and present good candidates for technology positions, collaborating with hiring managers to set realistic technical requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:
    Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions for internal hires and external positions. Specializes in recruiting BI, PM, Agile, Scrum, and other IT positions Onset offers. Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates. Creates advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital (Linked in, Facebook, Instagram, Data bases, email blasts, promotions) for open positions. Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications. Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications. Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace. Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs. Runs full interview and onboarding process when necessary Uses to the full potential data bases, Boolean searches, meets KPI in pre screenings and time frame for recruiting
Required Skills/Abilities:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills. Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Able to be self-managing with a slight oversite meeting the KPI's and expectations while working hybrid model. Must be able to travel 20% of the time on recruiting assignments.
Education and Experience:
    At least 1-3 years of related IT or technical recruiting or 3-5 years recruitement coordinator experience required inhouse or agency, with prior experience in technical roles a must Experience in onboarding, offboarding and ATS tracking systems and using internet searches, headhunting, mass emails, medium volume recruiting etc.
