Morton Salt Inc. is seeking experienced and dedicated candidates at our Silver Springs, NY facility.
Industrial/Packaging Mechanic, Journeyman:

The right candidate will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of all food processing and packaging equipment and will include a variety of skills; including troubleshooting, mechanical repair, electrical repair, basic welding and plumbing skills, etc.
- Qualified candidates will have a Journeyman's Certification or equivalent training and experience in a food-processing, packaging, or similar environment. Must possess a valid NYS Driver license. Must be able to work all shifts in a 3-shift operation, be able to lift up to 65 lbs., climb stairs and ladders and must be able to work as part of a team and as an individual. Forklift experience is a plus.
