Joining Engineer Job at SFN
This position is for managing and improving the processes of joining for a company in the automotive industry.
- Develop and manage clinching, functional element insertion and self-piercing rivet technologies and project solutions on the process engineering and design level for joining modern lightweight structures
- Experience with joining processes: resistance and projection welding of steel and aluminum, fastener insertion, clinching and riveting operations
Company is looking for candidates with 2-5 years of automotive experience as a welding, mechanical or industrial engineering degree.
However, proven joining experience in another industry will not be overlooked.
Overall travel will be less than 10%.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
