Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Java/Lead Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in Java technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers, overseeing the development of new applications and ensuring the quality of existing applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, manage timelines, and drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java technologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and manage project timelines.
• Oversee the design and implementation of software solutions, ensuring high quality and scalability.
• Develop and maintain software development standards and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes and practices.

Experience required:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Java technologies, including J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading a team of software engineers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.09 - $48.28 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Plano, TX 75093: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
