Japanese Bilingual Sales and Account Manager, Automation Engineering Services
Location: Lexington-Fayette, KY Metropolitan Area
FLSA: Exempt


OVERVIEW:
The Account Manager is responsible for promoting the company’s automation engineering services to prospective clients in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidates can develop understanding of each customer’s production specifications and strategically propose the application of automation solutions to improve their production.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
  • Source and identify the business opportunities and prospective client companies.
  • Engage in proactive sales activities and reach out to potential customers to propose the company’s automation engineering services.
  • Manage and develop relationships with clients through frequent visits and communication to understand their needs, production, goals, and prospects.
  • Present and demonstrate the services to prospect customers and prepare quotations and project schedules.
  • Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and administration to ensure the delivery to achieve customer satisfactions and goals of project timelines.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies with the new offerings of the company services and products.
  • Research and compile data and analysis to understand the up-to-date trends in the industry.
  • Maintain the customer records and process orders in a timely manner.
  • Provide post-sales support and resolve issues for customers if any.
  • Other duties requested by Management.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual Japanese and English skills. (reading/ writing/ speaking).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to attend frequent travels (Frequency up to: 10% overnight) and work overtime as needed.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous B2B sales experience to manufacturing (automotive, food, industrial equipment) industry highly preferred.
  • Knowledge in Automation equipment (example: PLCs) is a plus.
