POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Works under the general direction of the Customer Accounts & Contracts Administration Manager to support the management and administration of contracts, as well as, customer service operations. Contracts and customer service operations vary in scope, but will focus on the Authority’s electronic toll revenue collection, information technology systems, business rules and processes, as well as, asset leases, which are in accordance with the Authority’s goals and requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support internal and external efforts in all aspects of the Authority’s Electronic Tolling Customer Service Center, Violations Processing, and Financial Back Office services for toll revenue collection.
2. Collaborate with other departments and state agencies to analyze, administer, and enforce the Authority’s Back Office toll revenue collection contract.
3. Ability to develop and maintain a Contract Life Cycle Management System.
4. Support activities related to performance reviews and improvements of all Back Office customer service operations.
5. Evaluate and respond to legal and law enforcement in a manner consistent with privacy and security of the business.
6. Ability to receive and process emergency legal and law enforcement requests.
7. Utilize a combination of web-based applications and data extraction tools to compile data for legal entities and law enforcement.
8. Promote an ongoing program of continuous contract improvements.
9. Suggest and support implementation of contract strategy.
10. Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during day-to-day activities and contract development.
11. Ensure projects hit milestones on time and escalate to proper stakeholders as needed.
12. Solid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to troubleshoot project roadblocks and proactively seek solutions to meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR RELATIONSHIPS:

Has responsibility for maintaining harmonious working relationships with this and other departments and individuals in the Authority’s organization, as well as outside vendors, necessary for obtaining the objectives of the position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
2. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract administration.
3. Solid working technical knowledge of software applications, protocols, standards, and networking principles.
4. Understanding of customer facing service operations such as Call Centers, Direct Mail, Web-based, and Mobile Services.
5. Understanding of computer hardware, software applications, and network protocols.
6. Understanding of service delivery models.
7. Prior experience in working with and responding to law enforcement requests.
8. Must have financial background with competencies in contract management and administration, including but not limited to, outsourcing and business process outsourcing agreements.
9. Must have strong understanding of projects plans.
10. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
11. Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities, while working independently, as well as, part of a team.
12. Ability to work with diverse teams.
13. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
14. Valid New Jersey driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
