Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer County, Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking an IT Systems & Support Supervisor to join our team in Fort Recovery. The primary objective of the IT Systems & Support Supervisor is to provide leadership for the IT Systems & Support team and to provide oversight, direction and support for a wide variety of technology used company-wide. This position will spend equal time at both our St. Henry and Ft. Recovery locations.

Job Functions

  • Provide leadership and direction for the IT Systems & Support team, support professional development, complete performance reviews, and ensure the team is meeting goals and expectations set by management and the business.
  • Work with a team of other admins and support personnel to support technology throughout the company.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the organization’s data center infrastructure including servers, storage, VMware, and backup technologies.
  • Maintain, design, configure, and troubleshoot the organization’s wired and wireless network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the organization’s SAAS applications including Azure Active Directory, Single Sign-on, Intune, and Office 365.
  • Lead the organization’s IT security and monitoring initiatives, including vulnerability and network scanning assessments, security audits, web filters, antivirus systems, and network monitoring solutions.
  • Administer a wide variety of Windows and Linux application servers.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Microsoft services
  • Lead and provide guidance for low voltage contractors and professional services solutions/deployments.
  • Repair hardware and software, as necessary, and work with vendors to ensure service continuity.
  • Administer and maintain the organization’s phone system.
  • Maintain the organization’s software deployment system, PC imaging system, and Windows patching platforms.
  • Perform Active Directory, Office 365, and Intune management tasks such as user administration, group management, and mobile device management (MDM) deployments.
  • Oversee, maintain, and evaluate documentation for IT purchases, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Oversee training and orientation for team members on the use of company hardware and software.
  • Occasionally provide support to Cooper Farms personnel for work-related concerns outside normal working hours.
  • Willing to learn and attend training to keep up with internal processes and changes in technology.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate degree in information technology or related field with two years of experience. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, an in-depth knowledge and understanding of a variety of hardware and software solutions, as well as being able to support fellow team members in their use of technology.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, be able to prioritize work, sufficiently manage their time, and effectively lead projects.
