We are seeking a Full Time Systems Engineer in New Castle County, Delaware to assist our IT Affiliate, Ocellus Tech, with providing secure, comprehensive, and cost effective protection and planning.

• This is a full time hybrid split week position.
• Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with flexibility
• $55,000 to $58,000 annual salary DOE
• A $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Job Responsibilities:

Software:

• Monitor and maintain current software programs.
• Implement new and update old software programs.
• Work with software vendor to ensure compliance.
• Maintain network functions and problem solve as required.
• Ensure registration and/or licensing compliances for all PC applications.
• Ensure licensing of all new software programs.
• Assist the Technical Operations Manager with purchasing, setting up new software and existing software programs for new hires.
• Review and present facts pertaining to financial obligations of these software purchases and updates.

Hardware:

• Monitor and maintain current hardware systems.
• Make recommendations for new hardware and assist in the contract negotiations with our computer technology vendors.
• Monitor and update systems as necessary to avoid problems.
• Problem solve PC applications and offer training to support staff.
• Assist the Technical Operations Manager with purchasing, setting up new hardware and existing hardware programs for new hires.

Network Administration

• Administer Windows- based network and infrastructure.
• Administer remote connections.
• Perform all user administration tasks, including but not limited to account management and folder permissions \

Security Systems Administration

• Physical security systems, Firewall, and VPN technologies

Communication Systems Support

• Assist in managing, configuring and maintaining communications equipment including cellular and landline telephones.

Education, Qualifications, Requirements:

• Associates Degree and/or any MS Certifications preferred!
• One (1) to Three (3) years working experience in Information Technology.
• Excellent knowledge of computer hardware and software to include:
  • Office 365 Suite – (REQUIRED!)
  • Cloud based computing
  • Windows based servers
  • VPN
  • IT Management tools
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are necessary as an essential function to perform this position.
• You will be required to work on-site (2) days per week and as needed for meetings in Claymont, Delaware.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills!
• Ability to learn new programs as required.
• Excellent communication & organizational skills!
