IT Support Technician- Redeployment
Minimum Salary: $19.00 per hour
EPC (Executive Personal Computers) is a global leader in the IT asset disposition service. We offer managed logistics, data security, responsible electronic recycling, and remarketing. We offer a comprehensive hands-on training program to develop qualified candidates into successful members of our team. EPC has an opportunity on-site in St. Peters, Missouri for an IT Support technician to:
- Enter details of computer assets into database including but not limited to shipping details, model, serial number, hardware specs, condition of hardware, SecureTrack details and post configuration details
- Identify functional condition of server, networking, and PC hardware through bench testing
- Deploy Windows using Windows Deployment Services
- Ensure all customer data has been removed from IT equipment
- Upgrade IT Equipment to meet customer requirements including hardware and software
- Communicate with customers order status, upgrades, and answering questions
- Test, sort, pack and unpack IT equipment
- Assist other departments as needed, can include assisting shipping, and audit
Requirements:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type at least 40 wpm and perform constant data entry
- Basic computer skills and able to perform user-friendly computer tasks such as print, type, and data entry
Experience
- Hands on experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical hardware or software issues
- Experience using basic computer software
- 6-months of experience as an EPC Technician with familiarly to efficiently use the Iinvison Inventory Software
Physical
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

- Must be able to productively work as an individual and as part of a team
- Must be outgoing and energetic
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workflow
- Must be creative when it comes to marketing
- Must be able to understand the value of IT type product
- Must be able to quickly adapt to new policies and procedures regarding client specific needs
Install new and rebuild existing user computers and configures hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with IT polices and procedures. CompTIA A+ or Server +, Microsoft MCP or MSE and Technical knowledge of Windows OS and typical end-user hardware and software, including imaging are preferred but not required.
