Our client is seeking an IT Security Administrator with combined information security and information technology experience . This position provides information security administration for all of our client’s users and groups for operating systems, databases, and applications. This position defines users within all systems, grants access rights, and troubleshoots security issues. The Administrator provides professional problem-solving services for customer requests in a timely manner and takes appropriate actions to ensure customers can perform their work related-responsibilities using secure information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively implement, manage, and maintain information security infrastructure used to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information assets.
• Provide information security guidance for new projects and offer recommendations to ensure the selected business solutions are implemented using security industry best practices and in support of the organization's information security policies and standards.
• Adopt and support our client’s mission and values and demonstrates good ethical principles.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of Information Security Experience
• At least 5 years of IT experience
• Security+ Certification or equivalent at minimum
• Firewall Management
• SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
• Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)
• Email Security (Spam Filter/Encryption)
• Two-factor Authentication
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work experience
• Effective Communication and technical writing skills

Preferred Experience:

• Any combination of CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, C|EH, GCIH, GPEN, GSEC, CCNA certifications a plus
• Experience for any or all of the following:

• Enterprise Email Administration
• Intrusion Prevention System Management
• Web Content Filtering
• Security Architecture Design
• Risk Assessments and Risk Management
• Technical Security Assessments (Vulnerability/Penetration Testing)
• Malware/Threat Management
• Incident Response
• Information Security Investigations
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Management
• Network Security and Packet Analysis
• Endpoint Security and Encryption Enterprise Password Management
• Digital Forensics
• Remote Access Management

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
