The IT Project Manager will be a critical part of the IT department, reporting to the VP of Information Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of various technology projects within an organization, including coordinating with the stakeholders at all levels within the organization, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Job Duties:
- Defining project objectives, scope, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Developing project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinating project teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and managing performance.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving issues
- Communicating project status and progress to stakeholders, including executives and clients.
- Managing project documentation and ensuring that project files are up-to-date and accessible.
- Ensuring that projects comply with relevant regulations, policies, and quality standards.
- Leading project post-mortem analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of related project management experience required.
- Experience in managing project budgets and schedules, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledgeable about project management methodologies.
- Solid understanding of technology and its applications within the organization.
- PMP certification or similar technical certifications are a plus.
- Experience managing large scale IT project such as implementing Microsoft Office 365, Service Now and AWS Cloud transitions is a plus.
