JOB SUMMARY

Provides system administration of all servers (physical and virtual), SAN and networking infrastructure. Senior level desktop/laptop support to all individuals at the plant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Building/imaging of all desktops and laptops for new hires

2. Create user accounts and groups in Active Directory.

3. Maintaining IIS/Intranet

4. Microsoft Exchange 2010 Administration

5. Maintaining Microsoft Failover Cluster, Clustered Shared Volume

6. Configuring Cisco VOIP phones and Call manager.

7. Configure and install Cisco switches and routers

8. Run network cabling (includes terminating RJ-45/crimping)

9. Incorporate good communications to impart technical information to non-technical user.

10. Be able to work independently in a fast paced environment

11. Manage vendor relationships

12. Testing all hardware and software to ensure stable operation

13. Collaborate with IT personnel throughout North America and Spain

14. Uses software tools to track and monitor network performance & uptime

15. Operate as a single point of contact for any IT related issue

16. Support projects and initiatives such as SAP implementation, network infrastructure expansion, etc.

17. Perform all duties and functions in accordance to Gestamp North America and Gestamp World Wide IT directives and policies.

18. Maintain Cisco network switches, SAN, Microsoft servers, Microsoft clustering, Hyper-V virtualization environment

19. Manage backup server, backups, restores, tape robotic library and tape rotation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 5 years relevant experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Active Directory, Microsoft Server 2008 R2, Cisco network, Citrix, Hyper-V, SAN Administration, SAP experience, Backup Exec 2012, Microsoft Network Printer Management, SQL Server, Sharepoint, OpenNMS, Microsoft Failover Clustering, network monitoring software

2. Server and desktop hardware, exchange 2010
