ISO Coordinator

The Home Building Group is actively searching for an ISO Coordinator for our SE Homes facility in Addison, AL.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Position is accountable for the environmental/ISO functions for the manufacturing location. Implements and ensures compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations while coordinating required training for environmental and ISO programs. Works directly with the EHS manager and as a part of EMS and Safety committees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Work with the team to develop environmental procedures

Ø Responsible for overall administration of plant ISO procedures and manuals

Ø Schedule EMS Committee meetings and target and objective team meetings

Ø Track required data and graph and trend those related to ISO objectives and targets

Ø Create and update ISO communication media (board, table tops, video flyers, etc)

Ø Schedule, track and when necessary conduct EMS training (EA training, general EMS training, SOP training, etc.)

Ø Implement and train team on waste segregation to include coordinating universal and hazardous waste disposal.

Ø Maintain environmental compliance tracking sheet.

Ø Maintain all updates to manual, provide document control, file IAW ISO requirements and properly manage obsolete information.

Ø Conduct thorough investigations of non-conformances using the required corrective action form and root cause analysis.

Ø Work with EMS teams to develop preventative actions and maintain continuous improvement log.

Ø Schedule and participate with the EHS Manager in conducting Internal Audits, Management reviews and third party audits.

Ø Ensure regulatory compliance of all local, state and federal laws and submit required data to third party for processing of regulatory reports.

Ø In conjunction with the EHS Manager, lead the cultural change to become more environmental friendly at home and at work.

Ø Develop relationships in the local community to further environmental awareness and change.

Ø Must participate in on- and off-site training activities as requested by/through the General Manager and/or Home Office Director of EHS

Ø Continually seek personal and professional improvement through reading and participating in external environmental/ISO training courses.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

Ø Bilingual Spanish English Preferred

Ø High school diploma or equivalent, associates in environmental preferred

Ø Self-motivated, Analytical thinking, Strong organization skills

Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)

Ø Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations is a plus

Ø Good people/communication skills and the ability to follow-up and hold people accountable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
