Irrigation Manager

BraveView's client is a well established residential landscape company that has been growing in the past few years at a healthy clip. This company has a great culture and is looking for an Irrigation Manager who can focus on building the irrigation service into a fully running department. The client wants to hire a leader who can evaluate and adjust the policies and procedures, set up the shop, keep track of inventory, optimize scheduling, train, train and train and to grow the top line and bottom line of the irrigation service. The company provides irrigation services to include installation, maintenance and warranty. They focus mostly on residential clients however they do have HOAs and are looking to expand further into commercial.

Responsibilities:

• Lead: Responsible for leading the growth of the Irrigation Department by establishing best practices to maximize productivity from irrigation installation crews and multiple service technicians.

• Schedule: Responsible for the daily schedule of all irrigation install crews and service technicians. This includes managing schedules to include warranty calls, installations and regular service calls to maximize revenue and productivity.

Work with landscape project managers to coordinate irrigation installs with the overall landscape install project.

• Train: Responsible to train existing and new irrigation install team members and service technicians. Coordinate training meetings both onsite and in the field at site locations.

• Grow: Responsible for the growth of the irrigation division by planning and preparing to manage the growth.

• On- site: Responsible for the quality and timeliness of the install projects and service work. This will require the Irrigation Manager to be hands on and involved on site with projects.

Requirements:

• Previous irrigation management experience required
• Agree with company Mission, Vision & Values
• Be able to work a full day / week in a physically demanding environment
• Be able to manage time appropriately
• Be able to accept the input and critiques of other team members

Hours:

40-50 hours per week - hours will vary by season. During primary landscaping season this will include overtime hours and off season hours will be less. Off season hours may include snow-plowing based on need.

• Irrigation Management: 5 years (Preferred)
• Irrigation Installation: 4 years (Required)
• Irrigation Technician: 4 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CIT, CLIA, CIC or other irrigation certifications (Preferred)
