JEM Unlimited Iron, Inc. is looking for a PASADENA (CA) resident to fill a temporary position as a Construction Site Ironworker/Steel Installer, at a new-construction site in the city of Pasadena. This position is temporary and dependent on the needs of the job-site.

An Ironworker/Steel Installer, is responsible for performing various tasks to assist with and execute installation operations at a construction site.

To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable & comfortable working on a construction site.

Responsibilities:

• Install structural steel, ornamental steel, & misc. steel.
• Assist journeyman in installation process
• Assemble steel parts for installation on-site
• Follow blueprints to meet jobsite specifications
• Operating equipment- Forklifts, Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts
• Welding License preferred but not required
• Follow all company and governmental safety guidelines
• Measure and Cut Materials

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy material
• Ability to use power tools common for the trade
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Workers must be punctual and reliable
• Must have experience as an Ironworker in the construction industry
• Ability to follow Company & Contractor installation direction
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
