WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

USA Job Family Description: Identifies and pursues new sales prospects with existing or untapped clients & markets. Gathers market intelligence and develops proposals/PPT materials to drive new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses knowledge of markets, industries and clients to assist the senior banker to determine future trends and potential projects. Works closely with the M&A team to assist on financial modeling projects.

USA Job Function Description: Responsible for assisting the senior banker to develop client relationships, including attracting and retaining new clients and strengthening current relationships. Activities include industry research, comp analysis, financial modeling and maximizing cross-sell opportunities through customer profiling with the ultimate goal of cultivating interest in M&A as well as other related structured banking products. Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and. Makes presentations to potential clients and contributes to the achievement of sales targets.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Provides support to senior bankers and serves as a secondary banker for clients.
  • Lead client presentation preparation, including all background research and analysis, drafting and production of any client marketing materials and pitch books
  • Support senior banker in follow-up on identified cross sell opportunities with clients, including leading the coordination of global advisory and stakeholders across the Network.
  • Serve as a secondary support to our M&A team on select deal mandates.
  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
  • Support product partners and monitor entire execution process for transactions ensuring timely execution to meet client expectations.
  • Perform client research directed at uncovering opportunities to market bank products, strategic formulation of industry views/ideas, industry peer/comp research, trends and transformational events.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business or equivalent field. (Req)


Work Experience:

  • Related experience in Financial Services Industry , 3+ years (Req)


Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of corporate finance and banking products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of credit
  • Solid financial modeling skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams
  • Team player and self starter

For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $126,000-$166,750. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
