The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the merchandise flow in and out of the Retail Inventory Room. This individual will process all incoming deliveries; receiving, quality checks, and ticketing and coordinate the delivery of products to each individual outlet. This position supports both the Inventory and Merchandise Manager in all functions.
Essential Functions:

  • Reconcile incoming product deliveries from Purchasing log.
  • Check-in delivered product against the corresponding receiver.
  • Receive all retail products in Yellow Dog.
  • Notify Retail Group of deliveries for the business day.
  • Transfers as required.
  • Deliver Product to each outlet.
  • Assist with the retrieval of invoices as needed.
  • Notify Buyers of any variances in shipments.
  • Ticketing of all Retail products going to the sales floor.
  • Assist with shipping of merchandise to guests/vendors.
  • Perform returns to vendors (RTAs).
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Retail Inventory room.
  • Assist with inventory functions such as cycle counts, annual physical inventory, and damages/write-outs.
  • Supports online store as well as the Inventory and Merchandise Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Must have computer skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of inventory software applications.
  • Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people, including team members, vendors, sales representatives, and guests.
  • Team player willing to assist in multiple areas as the need arises.
  • Must be available for occasional weekends and holidays.
  • The Retail Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, organization, and overall function of the Purchasing Retail area. This includes evaluating processes, maintaining an efficient workspace, and accuracy of work.
  • Must be highly organized and computer literate.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are critical.
  • Lifting, bending, reaching, and stooping are all physical aspects of the job. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
