Assist in the maintenance of inventory for 950+ stores and commercial service centers. Responsible for several tasks including daily spot count audit, processing of DC & store inventory discrepancies, analyzing store shrinkage, assisting stores with timely receipt of transfers and purchase orders, preparing and processing physical and cycle counts, assisting A/P with resolving vendor invoices with no receiving, assisting with standard monthly journal entries and reconciliation notes, and providing weekly/monthly reporting and analysis of changes in inventory volumes and valuations.

The overall business outcome of the Inventory Control Department is to assure that the inventory valuation on the General Ledger is in sync with the physical inventory in the stores and assure the Operations team is compliant to the standards set by the company for inventory accuracy. The Inventory Rep specifically supports this outcome by resolving questions from Managers within 2 business days from the initial contact and returning any phone messages within 1 business day. Spot count audits and inventory discrepancies assigned to the Inventory Rep will be researched and resolved within 2 business days. Purchase Order inquiries given to Inventory Control are researched and resolved within a 2 week period from the time of receipt. Inventory Reporting assigned to the Representative will be created and distributed weekly/monthly/annually as scheduled with accurate information. Physical inventory audits at a store will be performed by the Inventory Representative as required. Full Physical counts will be processed in the JDA inventory data system and reported to management within 5 business days from the count.

Qualifications:

High school+ additional college coursework or related experience/education

1-2 year’s experience in Inventory Control or analysis

1-2 year’s experience in Access and Excel, JDA, or AS400 strongly preferred
