As a U.S. Mail contractor, the company was privileged to be awarded three times the "Eagle Spirit Award" from the U.S.P.S. for "Outstanding Management of Time Sensitive Transportation."
AJR Trucking is looking for a Inventory Control Clerk with Heavy Duty trucking experience. We are seeking a reliable individual to manage the parts inventory for the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and obtain correct parts in a timely manner.
- Assist mechanics in selecting and purchasing parts.
- Manage warehouse Inventory and perform monthly physical counts for all AJR facilities.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Participate in weekly meetings for each facility
- Interact with customers/vendors to ensure AJR is getting the best deal.
- Return all cores and warranty parts as needed
- Keep track of all open purchase orders. There should be no open purchase order exceeding 90 days.
- Process parts Invoices daily.
- Create a Parts Price with multiple Vendor Prices to ensure we are getting best prices.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Ability to consistently meet all deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
Pay:
- The pay is competitive, depending on experience ($26.00-$28.00/hour) and will be discussed during an in-person interview.
