POSITION SUMMARY: The position is responsible for overseeing and leading teams, conducting cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies in cycle counts. The position will be responsible for ensuring data and inventory accuracy using fishbowl and quickbooks operating systems as well as training employees on inventory control processes and procedures.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Provides direction to Department Leads, production, shipping and Logistics personnel performing cycle counts and cycle count reconciliations.
  • Owns all aspects related to work order entries, inventory transactions, routing sets, accuracy and BOM maintenance for assigned plants.
  • Run and analyze reports on closed work orders to analyze data as it relates to production performance.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to answer questions from multiple areas on systems interaction and execution.
  • Investigates and reconciles transactional errors in operating systems to ensure timely order closures and accurate reporting and owns root cause closure of system level gaps.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Director of Operations, Supply Chain Manager, Operations Manager and Finance team regarding systems or inventory inaccuracies and partners with the team to ensure timely fixes can be put in place.
  • Reconciles unresolved systems or inventory issues and concerns with finance and IT.
  • Manages the open WO's to ensure timely reporting and WO closure.
  • Partners with the operations team to ensure proper WO execution and training.
  • Partners with schedulers to ensure proper routing set ups and part management with Finance.
  • Possesses up to date working knowledge of Fishbowl operations on the front end as well as transactional understanding of how data is handled by Fishbowl as it relates to moves, cycle counts and other material transactions.
  • Possesses up to date knowledge of products and operating systems.
  • Manages the accuracy of BOM's, Routes, IT's, GR's, FG's and WIP to ensure high levels of efficiencies.
  • Interacts with functional areas including but not limited to planning, IT, cost accounting, operations, shipping and receiving.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:


High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Bachelors Degree :


Preferred Experience:


1-3 years related experience.


Computer Skills:


Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, JDE with a preferential knowledge of SQL or data query applications.


Other Requirements:


Must be proficient in Inventory Control methods. Understanding of Lean principles as well as a basic understanding of Six Sigma
