JOB PURPOSE

The Intersanctum Movement Scheduler develops and manages the wean, nursery, and gilt movements throughout the Seaboard Foods system. Responsibilities include creating the schedule, evaluating the flow, and ensure efficient site utilization for these animals.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Produce and distribute weekly schedules for wean, nursery, gilt animals.
• Communicate with sow, nursery and finisher farms regarding current and future movements, projections, and inventories.
• Analyze and project potential flow issues and opportunities.
• Work closely with the market scheduler and confirm schedule is in biosecurity compliance.
• Will cross train with market scheduling and flow for assistance and/or substitution.
• Input and print all appropriate bill of ladings for wean, nursery, gilt movements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School or GED required; or 1+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have extensive experience with using computers and Microsoft office (word, access, power point, and excel).
