Internet Sales Consultant

Position Description:

The Internet Sales Consultant is responsible for answering and assisting all online internet sales inquiries. Contacting the customer, setting appointments, assisting the customer once they arrive at the dealership, explaining features and benefits of the vehicle(s), demonstration drives, and finalizing pricing and delivery. The ability to multi-task and complete outbound phone calls, send email, and respond to or initiate text messages are also required functions of this position.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help customers research and choose the right vehicle.
  • Gain OEM certification and complete all required training.
  • Set and schedule appointments and address vehicle availability.
  • Facilitate the buying process remotely with our customers as required.
  • Call, e-mail, and text with customers as needed.
  • Manage online chat and video chat interactions.
  • Plan, organize, and complete daily activities each day in the dealership CRM.
  • Greet and assist customers when they enter the showroom.
  • Complete informative demonstration drives as needed.
  • Review pricing and assist customers with completion of paperwork or online order.
  • Deliver and review the vehicle to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

  • Professionals with Internet sales experience, automotive sales experience, or similar background.
  • Automotive CRM experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and sales intensive approach.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic.
