Internal Operations Auditor

Pay: $55-$75/hr

Start Date: 1/16/23

Contract Length: 2 months

Location: New York City (Remote)

Non-Profit organization in Manhattan seeks Internal Operations Auditor for 2-month project. Candidate will be responsible for working with department heads to find Risk and exposure. Training will be provided by hiring manager.

Responsibilities of the Internal Operations Auditor:

• Conduct and manage internal audit of the organization’s operations
• Work with client management to understand the business and assist in identifying and managing operational risks within their business processes
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of the Company’s operational risk management programs and/or entity-level and business process controls
• Hold Kick-off meetings and work closely with departments heads throughout the audit process
• Develop questionnaires for each department for utilization during the audit

Requirements for the Internal Operations Auditor:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CIA required
• 5+ years of related work experience in internal audit, risk management, or related field
• Ability to work independently after initial training
