· Pay: Hourly

Summary - Intake coordinators will welcome, register, and admit clients to Ebony House Inc. facilities. They will gather information about the client to create client records. They will assist clients in scheduling appointments and/or procedures for medical or legal appointments during the initial 30 days in treatment at Ebony House Inc. facilities. They also answer questions related to services and make referrals when necessary.

The role of an intake coordinator, will greet clients and collect personal information, medical histories, and insurance details relevant to admission at Ebony House Inc. facilities for services. They will address client inquiries and concerns, during the intake process. The Intake coordinator will perform clerical/receptionist duties at Ebony House Inc. facilities.

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Interviews clients during intake processing and completes admissions paperwork

· Verifies clients insurance coverage and benefits

  • Schedules appointments for consultations and other healthcare services during the first 30 days
  • Answers phones and completes associated clerical tasks for Ebony House Inc. facilities
  • Creates and maintains clients records throughout the course of clients stay
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

· Associates degree/Professional certification for healthcare coordinators preferred

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Superb attention to detail

· Bilingual –preferred

· Prior Intake Coordinator a plus

· Must pass background check and drug screening

· Fingerprint clearance card
