Job Description
Rainbow Children's Clinic is a very busy pediatric clinic and we are looking for a qualified person to fill this position.
Primary duty is to verify insurance coverage and front office work to include checking patients in to the office, answering phones, making appointments, updating patient demographic into Office Practicum medical software, keeping reception area organized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- verify insurance coverage both Medicaid and Private
- greet patient upon arrival at the window
- check in patients for office appointments
- collect co-payments or deductibles at time of service
- collected patients paper work and update in medical software
- scan insurance cards and patient information into electronic medical records system
- call patients that no show for appointments
- making appointments
- maintain the lobby during office hours
- fill in other front office position during lunch hour
Experience and Qualifications: 1 or more years of pediatric front office experience. Knowledge medical insurances. Bilingual a plus, outgoing, good verbal and written communication required, neat in appearance, energetic, positive with a can do attitude, people person, quick learner.'
