Installation Project Manager

Company Overview:
Fori Automation is a Lincoln Electric Company and innovative global supplier of automated assembly equipment for the
automotive and non-automotive industries. We are seeking an Installation Project Manager in Shelby Twp., Michigan. This
position reports to the Service Department Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conduct a daily lineup meeting with site personnel before each shift
• Communicate and manage scope of work and staffing levels with contractors
• Enforce safe work procedures and good housekeeping practices
• Maintain a Site Whiteboard consisting of:

o Schedule – (updated to show progress) – show plan vs. actual
o Check-off lists with a detailed task lists where appropriate (ex. Showing decking carts that have been worked on)
o Layout showing working area
o Open Issues
o Contact list with phone numbers (incl. customer and contractors)
o Emergency contact list (safety representative, medical attention)

• Publish a daily/weekly report that records:

o Number of workers by trade
o Hours worked
o Work accomplished
o Problems encountered
o Scope change
o Customer delays such as lack of parts, plant labor, production, lack of access, etc.

• Update project staffing plan with internal Fori project and service managers
• Understand and drive completion of acceptance plan with customer sign off

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Technical associates or bachelor’s degree desired
• Minimum 10 years of field service experience with automation equipment
• Minimum 5 years of field service experience as a lead technician
• Knowledge of Windows, Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Concur and ADP experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Made2Manage is a plus
• Willingness to travel 70% or more
• US Passport and travel capability to Canada preferred
