The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the development of new business through a consultative solution development approach. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining profitable business-to-business relationships on behalf of the company, actively prospecting for new accounts, and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. The OSR is responsible for proactive involvement in the business community networking groups as determined by the center owner as a strategic component of the overall center sales development plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Prospecting for new customers, developing new business, targeting key prospects and retain business.

  • Lead management, sales appointments and order follow through.
  • Present and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and fulfillment of customer needs.
  • Understand and comply with the consultative sales philosophy/program in place.
  • Develop annual sales strategy in conjunction with management and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicable.
  • Keep current on new technology.
  • Communicate effectively with management, and the marketing and production teams, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.
  • Follow systems and procedures as outlined in the company manuals.
  • Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed.

*Full OSR training and certification programs are in place to guide employee through the duties and requirements of this position. On-going coaching and support from our Alliance Franchise Brands team is available and utilization of these resources is highly encouraged.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • At least 2 years business-to-business sales experience desired
  • Professional, upbeat, and outgoing with excellent people skills
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Positive outlook, goal-oriented, and reliable
  • Ability to work independently as well as an integral team member
  • Clean driving record with dependable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Expertise in Internet search
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Keen multi-tasking abilities
  • Self-motivated and team player
  • Ability to continue and build professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base
  • Knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, products a plus but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
