Rock of Ages Corporation is looking for an Industrial Products Precision Lapper at our Graniteville, VT location. The primary responsibility is to help the production team to get the finished products ready to ship once most of the machine-work is done. Starting hourly wage at $19.36/per hour up to $27.65/per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Examine materials to ensure conformance to the company’s standard of quality.
- Report all defects in material to Plant Supervisor.
- Complete housekeeping duties in assigned area on a daily basis.
- Complete the required paperwork and receive shipments.
- Epoxy inserts or other parts in place in granite pieces.

Knowledge / Skills:
- Read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Understand basic math, trigonometry and geometry.
- Convert metric to inch, inch to metric.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
- Self-motivated, Curiosity and initiative.

Other Capabilities:
- A "safe production" attitude utilizing all safety procedures.
- Ability to work as a team player to achieve desired results.
- Thorough, organized, and detail oriented; able to establish priorities and meets deadlines.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Meet required deadlines.
